One of the prettiest flowers planted in California is the Bougainvillea. Josh bought me one for my garden about 10 years ago. Sadly they are only annuals in our region but grow beautifully year round in Southern California. The first wallpaper selection is from our hotel right outside of Los Angeles. The hotel had a spectacular collection of Bougainvillea growing from the ground to the rooftops of the hotel. The second wallpaper photo is the Bougainvillea at the Olivas Adobe in Ventura. You can read more about the adobe in this journal entry. I hope you enjoy the wallpapers! If you have time let me know if you used any of them. You can visit the Guest Area here. To use the photos, choose your screen resolution. Once the photo loads, right click and save as your Desktop Background. | | | | Bougainvillea at the hotel just outside of LA. 800 x 600 1024 x 768 | Bougainvillea at the Olivas Adobe in Ventura, CA 800 x 600 1024 x 768 | Bougainvillea at the Olivas Adobe in Ventura, CA | Bougainvillea along a wall on the Ventura Harbor.
